CENTRE OF MULTIFUNCTIONAL MATERIALS AND NEW PROCESSES WITH ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT









In agreement with the working plan of the MISSION Project, the Closing conference will take place in April 3-5 2008 at the Bankya Palace SPA hotel . Bankya is a little resort town in the suburbs of Sofia. The Conference will bring together participants, advisors, partners and interested parties. The aim of the Conference will be to present and discuss the project activities; to highlight and assess the scientific achievements and future trends of the MISSION Centre. During the Conference, a Round-table discussion on Challenge Materials for Sustainable Society Development will be organized. The final meeting of the Advisory board will be included in the Conference.
More details about the conference will be displayed on the Mission website in the beginning of 2008.

All-day Excursion to Melnik - one of the most charming towns of Bulgaria, situated in the southwestern foot of Pirin Mountain, 180 km away from Sofia. Famous for its worldknown thick and aromatic wines and fantastic rock formations.


Lunch at the Kordopulovata House - the biggest Renaissance house on the Balkans - with wine degustation.


Visit to the Rhozhen Monastery passing through the Melnik pyramids - an incredibly picturesque view.
