CENTRE OF MULTIFUNCTIONAL MATERIALS AND NEW PROCESSES WITH ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT

The project activities were presented at the International Exhibition on Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Sources, organized in the period 8-11 March 2006 in the National Palace of Culture, Sofia. The participation aimed at presentation of the MISSION project among the industrial and trade companies from Bulgaria, Balkan region countries, EU-countries and USA.

The MISSION project was presented at the Exhibition, “Bulgarian Academy of Sciences in the European Scientific Space”. The exhibition, organized at the BAS central building, was opened on April 7th 2006 by the President of the BAS, Academician Ivan Yuhnovsky in the presence of the Minister of Education and Science of Bulgaria, Daniel Valchev.

The unique Bulgarian natural products, “Sea Stars” and “Solilug”, developed at IGIC with the MISSION support, were presented at the National Conference dedicated to the Problems of the Medical Service in the Bulgarian Resorts and the Rehabilitation there, organized in the period 14-15 April 2006 in the Helios Hotel, Golden Sands, Varna. In the frame of the conference, Assoc. Professor Dr. Stefka Tepavicharova has a number of meetings with doctors and rehabilitators applying natural products in their therapies. She carried out numerous consulting activities related to the elaboration and application of Wellness programs, based on the Bulgarian natural products for talasso- and aromatherapy.
